The post that should have been “More autumn – Part 2″ became a post with an animal theme instead. Here is a mix of what runs, crawls and flies around my home.

I chased the blackbird with the camera for days before I got a good shot. It’s a very shy bird and I tried to catch one (not sure if it’s the same bird) on camera with the red berries already last year and failed. But not this time!

The cats tagged along this time too (because they are too lovely to not take pictures of).
The picture of Gizmo is the first one I’ve uploaded that is shot inside the house in the photo category. It’s always harder to get a nice picture of Gizmo than the other two. He is the clown in the group and he feels much more at ease fooling around than posing before the camera.

The little grass snake has to be mentioned too because it’s a bit exotic. It’s very seldom that I find snakes around the house. Poisonous or not – I can tell you that the pulse picks up speed when a snake hisses at you, even if it’s a small snake.

My “Skyscapes” are starting to become a small series of images. Lovely sunsets are like nature’s own firework. So exciting to watch.

This time of year a lot of autumn photos of colorful leaves pour out on the Internet kind of like images of flowering cherry trees flow out of Japan in the spring. Therefor I thought I woudln’t upload any colorful trees (eventhough a red leaf snuck into the bunch), but shar some other things that are also part of autumn.

I love autumn! The colours are the best thing I know this time of year and there’s also Halloween on the way. Lovely times!

To celebrate the coming of autumn I finally have a new picture to show you. It’s probably over a year since I last felt the urge to do something like it, which can be blamed on uneasiness and lack of artistic inspiration, among other things, but now, would you believe it; I finally managed to create something new.
And then you have the right to feel pretty good about yourself, right? It’s nice when the old spirit starts to find its way back.

If someone out there doesn’t like pictures of nature and cats then that person is following the wrong blog.

Renovation of kitchen is in progress. I think everyone can understand that it means a certain amount of mess that disturbs the possibilities to work and to concentrate. I also hit my head pretty badly tonight – feeling a bit dizzy – but it’ll have to work out. New photos will show up here tomorrow. Rawrrr!

For those of you who don’t know it yet I can tell you that SilverSerpent.net is a business nowadays. It will be cause for some changes around here on the site. Among other things there’s a new title page to be made for www.silverserpent.net (the old one has been around since 2005) and a pricelist for commissions will soon be up alongside the new contact form.

For starters I present my new logotype. This is the second version, actually. The first one I made was a bit anonymous because I didn’t want it to be too eye-catching. But then I thought – what the heck! Anonymous is so not me. I’m not a plain person who makes plain designs and therefore my logotype shouldn’t be plain either. So I gave it more attitude and now I really like it. With tongue and all.

I’ve never been really happy with the design of my \m/ symbol here in the banner. So now I’ve made a new one!
I once had a red t-shirt with my \m/ logo on in black. Maybe it’s time to print a new one.

…problem.
Some of the links in my gallery have stopped working. At the moment, I have no idea why or how to fix it, but I’ll work it out. Tomorrow. It’s still Sunday right now.
