This is a WordPress theme I’ve made for Anna Högberg and her website: Mörkrets Väktare.

I’m quite proud of it actually.
This is the most advanced website design I’ve done so far, I think. Lots of bits and pieces of graphic that’s supposed to end up in the right position no matter what. Always very challenging.
But alas, this one works in IE, FF, Chrome, Opera and Safari as far as I know. Anything less would be really bad of me.

The words that inspired this design were “dark fairytale” as well as:

…beautiful in a dark way, and a place where you can find will’o'wisps and shadow creatures among mighty trees and enchanted ponds.

A sunny, funny WordPress theme filled with warmth and joy. Inspired by the flag of Uganda and African dance.

This theme was designed for a school project about creating and distributing audio books in Uganda. The prototype website is called Share Your Story.
I don’t know if the website will be used or not, but the WP theme is nice nevertheless.

This is a design I did some months ago for my classmate, David, and his blog Internet and identities. It’s called Virtual charades. (It’s in Swedish, but you might wanna check it out anyway).
The first design was blue and white, but David wanted something black/pink/turquoise instead so that’s what he got.
I like both versions in different ways. Which one do you like best?

En sak som jag tänker på när du pratar om fördelar med CMS i del två är att det även finns en viss nackdel (beroende på hur man ser det) i och med att ett CMS kan vara ganska svårt att konfigurerar för någon utan några som helst kodkunskaper och att man då kanske måste hyra in en konsult som gör det åt en, Luleås Tekniska Universitet (2008).

Om man då tänker på WordPress som ett CMS utifrån din tredje del så tänker jag genast att WordPress i jämförelse är ganska lätt att komma igång med. Det finns en tydlig installationsguide, Famous 5-Minute Install, och man får snabbt svar på frågor i supportforumet, WordPress.org (2008).
Att WordPress inte är ett färdigt CMS utan att man får bygga på det med plug-ins kan jag dessutom tycka är ganska praktiskt eftersom man får möjlighet att lägga till precis de funktioner man behöver och vill ha.

The MIB course…
It sounds really cool. Like we’re supposed to learn about space and aliens, but oooooh no!

Instead here I am. Alone. Working on whatever we’re supposed to say tomorrow. And honestly… I’m pissed!
Sure this is boring. I won’t lie! It is B-O-R-I-N-G!!! But it is group work. Group work!

Yet here I am. ALONE! And I probably will be for another two hours.
So if our presentation is a total mess tomorrow – it will not be my fault!

So tired. Shouldn’t blog during lectures, but I’ll keep it short.
(Or work on it some more later.)

JavaScript. I hate JavaScript.
Always have and always… will? I don’t know. I get slightly better understanding for it everytime I have to deal with it.
But that doesn’t mean it’ becoming more fun.

Still have no idea what kind of application we should do for the MIB course. No clue.
