Signs of spring are showing up everywhere and hopefully will the camera defrost as well when the temperature rises outside.

The cypress hedge was covered in ice and when you broke off a piece the pattern of the cypress branch came with it. Cooool.

It’s been a while since I last uploaded something here now. The snow fall has had a lot to do with why the blog has been rather dead lately. Shovelling snow nearly killed my back.
But here’s some pictures of snow and birds. My favourite motives this time of year. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Sometimes you get sunsets so vibrant in colour you just can’t look away until they’ve faded into darkness. Lately there’s been more colourful sunsets than usual.

I normaly only upload pictures of nature so here’s something different for one in a while. These pictures were taken at an aero show two months ago. I’ve got loads of pictures, but these two turned out to be the best so I thought it would be fun to show them.

This has almost turned into a photo blog. I guess that’s not exactly bad, but still… I miss doing artistic stuff.
My creativitiy is on vacation though. Too much has happened lately.
So in the meantime… Have some more photos. Nature is pretty right now.

Time to post some photos again. This time of a baby magpie I found one day in the garden, and of my kitten perched up in a tree looking all furry and cute.
Then we have grass seeds and heather. I love the color of heather.

I’ve entered as a voluntary test pilot of a Canon EOS 550D.
It will be very exciting to see how it goes. It would indeed be very nice to test a new camera. Thanks for the tip, Ann!
And what can be more appropriate in a post about photographing than to upload some new photos to the portfolio? It’s a lot of flowers – but okay all my pictures in the photo gallery are of plants or animals so that’s nothing new.
Anyway, here is a compote of black currants, bleeding-heart, plum tree flowers, forget-me-nots, anemones and white strawberries. Sounds yummy, right?

It’s rather fun to crawl around the undergrowth to see what one can find now during the spring. There are a lot of pretty things down there.
I also had a photo session with a pied flycatcher that almost seemed to pose before the camera. Look how lovely he is!

I don’t have that many vast views to photograph around here so I usually end up crawling around the undergrowth.
